Wine & Travel Week's 3rd edition will gather dozens of international economic agents and is already open for registration

The global wine tourism industry, which continues to expand, will once again meet in the city of Porto from the 16th to 23rd February 2025. The 3rd edition of Wine and Travel Week (WTW) brings together world wine tourism projects, as well as tour operators and opinion leaders.

At a time when Portugal is analysing a legal framework for an industry that is already estimated to be worth a fifth of the wine industry's total turnover, WTW is an international meeting forum for establishing business, debating trends and living experiences.

Organised by Essência Company, with the support of Turismo de Portugal, Porto City Council and the Great Wine Capitals Global Network, WTW will host business meetings on the 17th and 18th February, plus a parallel programme of social and cultural experiences. This will be followed by post-event tours for the invited participants, from the 19th to 21st February, through the different Portuguese tourism regions, which will allow them to get to know the local wine tourism offers in greater detail.

In its most recent edition, WTW brought together 70 wine tourism projects, 65 international buyers from more than 20 countries and journalists from eight different nationalities, obtaining very relevant feedback that positions it as the most exciting initiative of its kind today. In fact, among the international honours it has won, WTW has already won prizes at the "Travel & Hospitality Awards" and the "Luxury Lifestyle Awards".
